New NSW Drink Driving Laws

You’re out with your mates having a couple of quiets on a Friday afternoon.  Before you know it, it’s time to pick up the kids from after-school care.

You think “I’ve only had 2 – I’ll be right to drive” –STOP – THINK AGAIN!!

Drink Driving laws in NSW have never been tougher.  In a plan to reduce alcohol-related injuries and fatalities on our roads the NSW Government has introduced a Road Safety Plan.

What this means is that every person caught drink driving will have their licence immediately suspended. This includes low-range drink drivers – even if it is your first offence.

If you do find yourself charged with an alcohol or drug-related driving offence you will need to discuss your licence options with an experienced criminal lawyer.
